Research Activities at Engineering Geology Laboratory
Some resumes (in Bahasa Indonesia) of Sadisun's research interests, which having specific theme includes engineering characterization of weathered rocks (pdf file theme 01), slaking and swelling of claystones (pdf file theme 02), concrete aggregates quality (pdf file theme 03), and slope stability analyses and GIS-based landslide assessment (pdf file theme 04), have been uploaded. 5th ISEST : Call for Papers
The 5th International Symposium on Earth Science and Technology will be held at Kyushu University, Japan,
December 3 - 4, 2007. It brings together the international community of researchers and practitioners
to discuss the latest advancements and future directions in the areas of earth science and
technology. The symposium welcomes paper submissions from researchers, practitioners and students.

INAFEG
The IAEG Indonesian National Group currently initiates a larger national society as Indonesia Association for
Engineering Geology and the Environment, shortly called as INAFEG. As of March 31, 2007, the INAFEG has 70 members
(including 22 member of the IAEG). They come from different institutes and universities including Bandung Institute
of Technology, Gajah Mada University, Pajajaran University, Trisakti University, Pakuan University,
various departments including Center for Geological Environment, Center for Vulcanology and Geologic
Disaster Mitigation, Center for Geotechnology, Marine Geological Institute, Center for Water Resources
